Installing a SAFL Baffle in the storm sump structure takes about 45 minutes with only an impact drill, level, and wrenches.
The shipment includes all hardware needed, even a concrete drill bit. Every piece is designed to fit through a standard manhole casting
allowing retrofit installations or new installations.
MnDOT Reports the SAFL Baffle has saved Minnesota Tax Payers more than $8 million dollars in the last 3 years and
expects to save another $26 million over the next 10 years.
